Larry the Cable Guy
Salute to the Superstars is proud to present you Jason Langdon as the top rate britches rippin funny man "Larry the Cable Guy"
Born at a very young age, Jason has always had a nack for comedy. As a young boy (notice I didn't say small), his father would have him come downstairs to entertain company, and disgruntled bill collectors, to lighten the mood. Taking on odd job as a teen, from selling "No Door-to-door salesmen Welcome" signs door-to-door, to shooting chickens out of a cannon at airplane windshields, Jason always kept his dream of stand up comedy in sight. A comedian in his own right, taking on the "Larry" persona was a natural fit. He is a hit no matter what he does and never comes out of character. Watch for his many appearance's on our shows page for 2010.

Buddy Holly
Salute to the Superstars is pleased to announce the addition of Tom Carroll performing his breath-taking tribute to the legendary Buddy Holly. Although Buddy has passed on, his music will never die (as immortalized by Don McLean’s song – “AMERICIAN PIE” - “The Day that Music Died”), referring to the day that Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper died in a plane crash. In fact, in 2004, Rolling Stone ranked Holly #13 among “The Fifty Greatest Artists of All Time”.
Tom grew up in a house full of Buddy Holly records so Buddy’s music was engraved in him at a very young age. Throughout the years, Tom has performed many Buddy Holly songs in the various bands that he has been a part of. He still is a member of a Rock & Roll group called the “Viceroys” that perform 50’s and 60’s music.
Tom’s focus on High Energy is exemplified by his desire for impact exercise – In 2008 he achieved his BLACK BELT in Karate after years of training.
We’re sure you will enjoy watching Tom perform songs like “Peggy Sue”, “That’ll be the Day” and other Buddy Holly favorites. Be sure to look for him in our upcoming shows.

Toby Keith
Mike Evans’ tribute to Toby Keith is an honest and energetic portrayal of this Country Superstar’s love of his life in music. With a repertoire of over 40 of Toby’s hits from the last 15 years, Mike custom tailors each show to fit the venue and anticipated audience. Crowd participation is encouraged and welcomed, whether it be slow dancing to Toby’s romantic love songs or raising a glass and singing along with some of the bawdier ballads of the wilder side of life.
From Shoulda Been A Cowboy to I Love This Bar, As Good As I Once Was, and High Maintenance Woman, Mike nails the look, sound, and character of his tribute like no other. His representation of Toby’s voice has been described as “seemingly effortless” and “completely believable”. But not content with just sounding right, Mike continually works on costuming and showmanship to add to every performance. And with each release of a new album or single, he’s quick to learn Toby’s latest hits to be able to satisfy any request for any encore or “special” song.
Mike has fronted a few area bands over the years and still loves to sit in vocally or on harp with a few now and then when he bumps into them at local bars. He was even invited to sing the National Anthem at the Shrine Circus in Detroit this year.
This performer’s experience in Casinos and clubs throughout the Western states and other venues in the Midwest and Canada shines through in each and every show. Let your crowd feel like the last person who said, “…it was just like the last time we went to see Toby...”
